Gravity Forms Import Entries is an extension of Gravity Forms which allows admin to import CSV file data in the entries section of gravity form. Admin can also Update existing entries by selecting the field (from csv) that will be matched to entry id.

Plugin Features

• Export entries from “Gravity Form” plugin and csv file and import it to Gravity Import Entries add-on (or manually create csv file matching gravity forms criteria).
• Admin can choose from gravity form and csv file for the entries to be imported from.
• Update existing entries by selecting the field (from csv) that will be matched to entry id.
• Admin has the option to import post type and this post type will add to post types list.
• Admin has the option to make a conditional Logic to import entries accordingly setting conditions for the entries that match or do not match.
• Admin has option to save form mapping and conditional logic as a template related to the form being used and that template can be reused again.
• System will add records that have errors not imported to new CSV file and to make it easy to import those records again.
• Admin has option to use rules validation on gravity form. Apply gravity form validation when import entries (required unique .. etc).
• Admin has option to generate email notification for imported entries
• Admin can choose to not import any specific field from the csv file.
• Admin can enable to ignore the required fieldswhich then will not be displayed in the entries.
• Admin will be displayed the number of rows in csv file which have been imported.

GF Importer: How To Import CSV File

• Go to GF Importer tab from dashboard panel menu.
• Click choose file to upload a csv file or export from “Gravity Form” .
• You can select the gravity form to import entries from.
• Click on upload button.

Mapping between fields and CSV file

• Mapping between form fields and csv field column .
• Admin must make sure to provide enough form fields in form as described in csv file for the GF importer to extract data from csv file to the form fields.

GF Importer: How to Update Entries

• To Update entries admin has to check mark update entries checkbox and select drop down list to load all Fields added in CSV file.
• When Admin selects a field to update it that means that this field is mapped to entry id and GF Importer will fetch records starting from this entry in the CSV file.

Easily import files from Microsoft Excel Apple Numbers Google Sheets LibreOffice or another spreadsheet format within minutes. All you have to do is simply export your file to a CSV before importing them in “Gravity Forms Import Entries” add-on. Save time and efforts by exporting your data in a reusable file format.
How to export a CSV file
Admin must make sure to provide enough form fields in the form (as many as in the CSV file) for the Gravity Form importer to extract data from the CSV file to the form fields.
If any of the records have errors or have caused problems while importing don’t worry
The system will automatically add those records to a separate file.
The admin can simply rectify the errors in the records and try importing them again.
Go to the GF Importer tab on the main menu and check the Import Log for the import status for each record.
The admin has the choice of being notified by email for every imported entry. If allowed the add-on will generate and send an email containing records of the entry to the admin.
The admin has the option to determine which fields they can import – simply include or exclude the fields you want to import.
The add-on gives you the option to ignore certain required fields when importing. These import records will mark them as an empty entry.
Go to GF Importer where you will see the number of records added at the end of the import status list.
Now you can easily import digitally captured signatures coupon details and survey data gathered through your Gravity Forms. Just map the fields and view your entries in the entries section of your form.
Gravity Form Signature Addon is required for importing digital signature entries.
To access the plugin admin has to access it from the dashboard panel menu and click the GF Importer tab. In the GF importer tab admin can access settings and see two text boxes each having different functionality as defined below.
Make sure survey fields are mapped correctly in order to avoid any misrepresentation of the data when importing entries.
